Evoke Poetry Conference 2025
Event
About Evoke Conference
Empowering womxn through poetry conference
There are several conferences available for poets all over the country. Evoke is unique in the sense that it provides an open registration for all womxn who are looking for means to improve their craft. The conference entails both writing and performance workshops, yoga, meditation, and side events like book swaps and open mics to share what was written which is not provided anywhere else.
This event is important because it provides a space that is limited to womxn poets. We have endured a harsh history of womxn continually being silenced and not being able to share their story. Although there are several different conferences around the country that caters to writers, this event opens the door for fellowship, holding space for one another, and honing our craft of poetry.
